Changed your mind, ordered the wrong reference or received a faulty item? Here is how to arrange a return and understand your rights.

Changed your mind: withdrawal rights

For distance purchases of goods made as a consumer, you generally have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you wish to withdraw, without giving a reason. For an order delivered in separate lots, the period starts on receipt of the last item or lot.

Notify us clearly by email at contact@saboulautosport.com, through the contact form or by post, including your order reference. You may use the model below, but this is not compulsory.

How to return an item

1. Identify the order. Tell us which items are concerned and provide your contact details. Contacting us helps organise the return; prior authorisation is not a condition of your statutory withdrawal right.
2. Pack the item securely. Include the supplied accessories and instructions. Keep the original packaging where possible and retain proof of dispatch.
3. Send it back within 14 days of notifying us, to the address below unless we agree on another return address.

For a change of mind, you bear the direct return costs if you were informed of them before purchase. For bulky goods that cannot normally be returned by post, ask us for an estimate before ordering.

You may handle the item to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for these checks may be taken into account as permitted by law.

When and how refunds are made

For withdrawal, refunds are due no later than 14 days after your notification. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

For withdrawal from the entire order, the refund includes the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered. Additional costs of a more expensive delivery option you selected are excluded. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method at no cost to you. No PayPal commission is deducted from a statutory refund.

Incorrect, damaged or faulty products

Contact us with your order reference, product reference and a description of the issue; photos can help. We will explain the applicable procedure and arrangements. Remedies under the statutory conformity guarantee are free of charge for consumers, unlike a simple change-of-mind return.

Statutory guarantees apply under their own conditions, including for second-hand goods. Withdrawal rights do not replace these guarantees.

Special cases

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from withdrawal rights. A standard product ordered from a supplier is not excluded solely for that reason. Purchases made in a professional capacity generally do not benefit from consumer withdrawal rights.
