MOTUL 8100 X-MAX 0W40 1L engine oil

8100 X-MAX 0W40 1L engine oil is a high-performance synthetic lubricant designed with Full SAPS technology (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur). Ideal for recent, powerful vehicles, it suits petrol and diesel engines, whether direct or indirect injection, naturally aspirated or turbocharged. Compatible with all fuel types, including petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG and biofuels, it is also suitable for catalytic converters.

This oil meets ACEA A3/B4 and API SERVICES SN/CF standards and is approved by prestigious brands such as BMW (LL-01), Mercedes-Benz (MB-Approval 229.5), Porsche (A40) and Volkswagen (VW502 00 - 505 00). It also meets Ford specifications (WSS M2C 937 A) and FIAT performance requirements (9.55535-Z2).

The MOTUL 8100 X-max 0W-40 formulation ensures optimum performance and durability according to international API standards. It offers exceptional detergency and dispersancy, increased resistance to viscosity increases caused by deposits, and outstanding lubricating properties, including wear protection and high-temperature resistance. This ensures optimum oil consumption control and engine protection throughout the oil change interval.

With an SAE 0W-40 viscosity grade, this oil reduces hydrodynamic friction, improving fuel economy, especially when the engine is cold. It ensures better oil circulation at start-up, rapid lubricant pressurisation, smoother engine revving and faster engine warm-up. Environmentally friendly, it helps reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions (CO2).

MOTUL 8100 X-max 0W-40 is the perfect balance between fuel economy, thanks to low cold viscosity, and high engine protection, thanks to strong oil-film shear resistance at high temperatures. Its properties include SAE J 300 0W-40 viscosity grade, density at 20°C of 0.841 and viscosity at 40°C of 76.2 mm²/s. It also has a viscosity index of 184, a pour point of -45°C and a flash point of 228°C.
