Electric engine oil pressure accumulator 2L 305 mm

Designed to address oil pressure drops during racing, this device provides two main functions:

• Pressurising the oil circuit before starting the engine.
• Supplying oil to compensate for pressure drops in the circuit.

It consists of a sealed cylinder with a piston separating the oil from the air. This cylinder fills automatically according to the oil pressure in the circuit until the air and oil pressures reach equilibrium. If the oil pressure drops, it releases the accumulated oil to compensate for the lack of pressure.

It can be controlled by three types of valve:

• Manual quarter-turn valve.
• Standard solenoid valve: for rapid discharge and slow filling, ideal for pressurising before starting or for drag/race applications.
• EPC solenoid valve: ideal for competition use, it discharges automatically when the warning threshold is reached. This valve includes three minimum pressure warning thresholds as standard. It is the only valve approved for competition to pressurise before starting and add oil during racing.

Main installation recommendations:

Fits into the original oil circuit using a sandwich plate and a branch T-piece after the cooler. It can also be installed directly on the oil sump. It is advisable to position the oil end slightly higher than the “air” end to prevent air bubbles accumulating in the oil.

• Accusump 1L: AN-6 hose
• Accusump 2 and 3L: AN-10 hose
