Set of 5 synchroniser rings JC5 / JR5 / Clio 2 RS / Twingo 2 RS

Complete set of 5 reproduction synchroniser rings for Renault JC5 gearboxes, intended for the Clio 2 RS Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 as well as the Twingo 2 RS Phase 1 and Phase 2 equipped with the JR5 gearbox. This new aftermarket kit has been specially reproduced to meet a growing need among Renault Sport owners.

As the original synchroniser rings concerned are now no longer available new on the market, we commissioned a supplier to manufacture these reproduction parts specifically to enable the gearboxes in these models to be rebuilt.

The synchroniser ring plays an essential role during gear changes. It synchronises the rotational speeds of gearbox components before the gear engages, helping to achieve smoother gear changes.

These reproduction parts are supplied together as a complete set of 5 rings, one for each of gears 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. They provide a particularly useful solution when carrying out a JC5 gearbox rebuild if the original rings are significantly worn.
