Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluid 500 ml

This fluid is intended for hydraulic brake and clutch systems requiring the stated DOT classes. Select it in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.

• Synthetic polyglycol-based fluid, miscible with non-silicone DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids. Do not mix with mineral LHM or silicone-based DOT 5. The supplier specifies corrosion protection and compatibility with braking-system seals.
• Formula suited to ABS and ESP micro-valves. Moisture absorption reduces brake-fluid boiling points: follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

• Quoted reference values : DOT 5.1: dry ≥ 260°C / 500°F; wet ≥ 180°C / 356°F; viscosity at -40°C ≤ 900 mm²/s, at 100°C ≥ 1.5 mm²/s. Wet references: DOT 3 ≥ 140°C / 284°F; DOT 4 ≥ 155°C / 311°F.
