Discover MOTUL’s new 8100 POWER series, incorporating advanced ESTER technology. This fully synthetic, racing-inspired formula uses Ester to ensure exceptional oil film strength even at very high temperatures, delivering optimum engine power and torque while maximising wear protection.

This oil ensures stable oil pressure in all conditions, on the road or in racing. Turbocharged direct-injection petrol engines can sometimes experience sporadic pre-ignition, manifested by a metallic noise and a brief loss of power. This phenomenon, known as LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) or Rumble, can cause high pressure peaks in the combustion chamber, risking damage to the piston and engine.

For the latest generation of petrol engines, often downsized and equipped with direct injection and turbochargers, API developed the API SP standard. This standard safeguards these engines against such abnormal combustion. MOTUL 8100 POWER 5W-40 withstands high temperatures particularly well, reducing wear through its excellent lubricating properties and offering better control of oil consumption.

Its optimised 5W-40 viscosity grade ensures excellent oil circulation, offering the best balance between power and reliability for your engine. Suitable for all types of petrol fuel, whether leaded or unleaded, ethanol E85, LPG, diesel and biofuels.
