MOTUL 8100 X-MAX 0W40 engine oil 5L

MOTUL 8100 X-MAX 0W40 5L engine oil is a high-performance 100% synthetic lubricant using Full SAPS technology (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur). It is formulated for modern, powerful petrol or diesel vehicles, direct or indirect injection, naturally aspirated or turbocharged. It suits all fuel types, including petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG and biofuels, and is compatible with catalytic converters.

Its standards and approvals include ACEA A3/B4, API SN/CF and manufacturer certifications BMW LL-01, MB-Approval 229.5, PORSCHE A40 and VW 502 00 - 505 00. It also meets FORD WSS M2C 937 A specifications and FIAT 9.55535-Z2 performance requirements. MOTUL 8100 X-max 0W-40 meets all manufacturer performance and durability requirements while complying with the latest API international standards.

This API SN oil offers exceptional detergent/dispersant performance, high resistance to viscosity increases caused by deposits and excellent lubrication, ensuring optimum wear protection and high-temperature resistance. It also improves oil consumption control and protects the engine throughout the drain interval.

With SAE 0W-40 viscosity, it reduces hydrodynamic friction, helping fuel economy, especially when cold. It improves circulation at starting, builds pressure quickly, allows smoother engine revving and faster warm-up. Environmentally considerate, it reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

MOTUL 8100 X-max 0W-40 balances fuel economy from low cold viscosity with high engine protection (HTHS > 3.5 mPa.s), thanks to strong oil-film resistance to high-temperature shear.
