Discover our Titanium Series exhaust sleeve kit, measuring 0,91m x 10cm, designed to reduce under-bonnet heat and boost your vehicle’s performance. Wrapping your exhaust manifolds and downpipes is an essential step in effectively managing excessive heat that can harm your engine. Reducing this heat allows cooler intake air, increasing engine efficiency and power.

DEI Titanium, Glass Fiber and EXO Series heat wraps are made from high-quality materials for optimal thermal insulation. Whether you are a motorsport enthusiast or an experienced driver, these wraps guarantee effective heat management and performance meeting Design Engineering Inc. standards.

Choose the right DEI heat wrap:

Option 1: Glass Fiber Series: A standard woven fibreglass solution offering good thermal insulation (648°C direct / 1093°C radiant). Available in beige and black, it is economical, flexible and easy to fit, although less durable and requiring a silicone coating for improved fluid resistance. Ideal for racing cars, motorcycles and conventional applications.

Option 2: EXO Series: Designed for extreme off-road environments, this high-temperature fibreglass with a stainless steel exoskeleton offers improved resistance to impacts, vibrations and moisture. Withstands 648°C direct / 1093°C radiant heat, available in beige and black. More durable and rigid than the Glass Fiber Series, a silicone coating is recommended but not essential. Suitable for off-road applications: rallying, 4x4, motocross.

Option 3: Titanium Series: Maximum performance and protection. Made from woven lava fibre, it offers superior thermal insulation (982°C direct / 1371°C radiant), excellent flexibility and requires no silicone coating. Available in titanium and black titanium colours, it is ideal for top-level racing cars and high-performance applications. Maximum durability and resistance.

Notes:

• Heat wrap is not designed to be moved or removed after exposure to heat. Once heated, the fibres lose their initial flexibility, although this does not affect their thermal properties.
• DEI does not recommend wrapping titanium exhausts. The alloys used for these systems are often thin and designed to dissipate heat quickly. Wrapping a titanium exhaust, can retain too much heat, making the alloy brittle and liable to crack prematurely.
