Which heat wrap range should you choose?

Option 1: Glass Fiber Series A standard woven glass fibre solution providing effective thermal insulation (648°C direct / 1093°C radiant). Available in beige and black, it is economical, flexible and easy to install, although it requires a silicone coating for better fluid resistance. Ideal for racing cars, motorcycles and classic applications.

Option 2: EXO Series Designed for extreme off-road environments, this series uses high-temperature glass fibre with a stainless steel exoskeleton for increased resistance to impacts, vibrations and moisture. Withstands 648°C direct / 1093°C radiant heat, available in beige and black. More durable and rigid than Glass Fiber Series, a silicone coating is recommended but not essential. Perfect for rallying, 4x4 and motocross.

Option 3: Titanium Series Offering maximum performance and protection, this woven lava fibre wrap provides superior thermal insulation (982°C direct / 1371°C radiant), with excellent flexibility and no need for a silicone coating. Available in titanium and black titanium colours, it is ideal for top-level racing cars and high-performance applications, ensuring maximum durability and resistance.

Notes:

1. Heat wrap must not be moved or removed after heat exposure. Once heated, the fibres lose their initial flexibility without affecting their thermal properties.
2. DEI advises against wrapping titanium exhausts. The thin alloys used for these systems are designed to dissipate heat rapidly. Wrapping a titanium exhaust can retain too much heat, making the alloy brittle and prone to premature cracking.
