4 XTREM forged I-beam connecting rods for Citroen, Mini and Peugeot 1.6 THP engine

XTREM Motorsport connecting rods are designed with extreme precision, ensuring perfect balancing to the nearest gram. They withstand engine speeds above 9000 rpm. Designed for competition, these rods combine light weight and strength, making them ideal for highly modified engines producing more than 1,5 times their original power. Made from high-quality, heat-treated steel, they ensure uncompromising performance.

As well as strength, these rods offer significant weight savings of up to 100 grams per rod, allowing the engine to reach very high speeds. XTREM reinforced rod kits are supplied with ARP L19 bolts and washers, even stronger than the popular ARP 2000. Each kit contains 4 rods, with bolts and washers included.

WARNING: ARP L19 bolts are sensitive to corrosion and require handling precautions. When tightening rod bolts, lubricate the threads and bearing surface with molybdenum paste. Tighten to torque in three stages to reach the recommended stretch (between 150 and 170 microns, equivalent to 0,15 / 0,17 mm). ARP L19 3/8" tightening stages: 1: 2.5 m.kgf, 2: 4.5 m.kgf, 3: 6.5 m.kgf.
