Unlike traditional mechanical pumps, the EWP140 operates electrically, reducing engine load and freeing up to an additional 10 kW (13 PS). It can replace a standard mechanical pump or be added as an auxiliary pump to enhance your cooling system.

When paired with a digital controller (sold separately, reference 414CONTROL4, or included in the EWP® Combo Pack), the pump automatically adjusts its speed according to coolant temperature, ensuring optimal performance and improved energy efficiency. The controller offers several adjustable temperature ranges to maximise power or improve fuel economy. It also continues running for three minutes after engine shutdown (or until the temperature is 10°C below the target) to prevent heat soak and extend engine life.
