MSD Digital 6AL electronic ignition module

MSD ignition modules stand out for their ability to generate three sparks per cylinder up to 3000 rpm, considerably improving engine torque and performance. Above this speed, a single spark lasts for 20° of crankshaft rotation, ensuring complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture in each cylinder. More powerful than the MSD 6A model, the 6AL delivers a pulse of over 530 volts to the coil and provides spark energy of up to 135 millijoules. This module is compatible with 4, 6 and 8-cylinder engines and works effectively with a contact-breaker distributor, an electronic distributor or an electronic amplifier. Installation is straightforward thanks to a single connector that simplifies wiring loom management. The ignition module incorporates an adjustable rev limiter, with two rotary switches on the housing: one allows adjustment in 1000 rpm increments, while the other fine-tunes the setting in 100 rpm increments. It is supplied with all connectors, looms and accessories needed for installation.
