The BOSCH LWS steering wheel angle sensor F02U.V02.894-01 is an innovative device designed to accurately capture rotational movements and angular velocity, including steering wheel angle and steering speed. Thanks to advanced giant magnetoresistance (GMR) technology, it ensures precise and reliable measurements.

This system uses measuring gear wheels combined with small magnets to determine the absolute angle. The GMR elements, sensitive to the direction of the magnetic field, change their electrical resistance to detect the exact position of the gear wheels. The resulting voltages are then converted into digital signals through an A/D conversion process, allowing a microcontroller to calculate the angle.
