LASER AND TOOLS brake fluid moisture tester

Discover our LASER AND TOOLS brake fluid moisture tester, an essential tool for your safety that detects the percentage of water in brake fluid. Moisture is a major risk factor for brake fluid. When the temperature rises, the water present turns into vapour, a compressible gas. This change can cause the brake fluid to boil prematurely, compromising braking effectiveness. It is therefore crucial to monitor the moisture content regularly.

Results are shown by indicator lights:

• Yellow : less than 1% water, no action required
• Yellow/Yellow : 2% water, regular checks advised
• Yellow/Yellow/Red : 3% water, brake fluid replacement necessary
• Yellow/Yellow/Red/Red : 4% water, immediate brake fluid replacement recommended

An AAA battery is included for immediate use.
