BC Racing DS coilovers for Nissan Skyline

BC Racing DS coilovers for Nissan Skyline are new high-performance suspension components designed to improve road handling, driving precision and vehicle control during sporting use. Developed from BC Racing’s motorsport experience, the DS range is aimed at enthusiasts seeking a more effective chassis for dynamic road use, sporting driving or occasional trackdays.

Part function

Coilovers replace the original dampers and springs to control body movements, tyre grip and ride height. On a Nissan Skyline, they allow precise adjustment of chassis behaviour by acting on damping, ride height and load distribution. BC Racing DS digressive technology optimises control of body roll, pitch and weight transfer while retaining good absorption of road irregularities.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Less precise road holding and loss of stability under cornering loads.
• Excessive body roll in corners and substantial dive under braking.
• Reduced traction under acceleration, particularly on powerful or modified vehicles.
• Uneven tyre wear due to poor control of suspension movements.
• A floating sensation, bouncing or unpredictable handling at high speed.
• Difficulty making effective use of the Nissan Skyline’s chassis potential.

Benefits of replacement

• Clear improvement in driving precision and steering feel.
• Reduced body roll, pitch and unwanted body movements.
• Ride height adjustment to optimise the vehicle’s centre of gravity and appearance.
• Damping adjustable over 30 levels to adapt handling to the road, circuit or driver’s preferences.
• Double Digressive Valving technology providing stronger support at low damping speeds and a stable response during rapid changes in cornering load.
• More consistent performance thanks to a robust monotube design and high-performance oils.
