BC Racing DS coilovers for Volkswagen ID.4

This BC Racing DS coilover kit is a new product for the Volkswagen ID.4. Designed for drivers seeking more precise handling, adjustable ride height and better chassis control, it benefits from BC Racing’s motorsport expertise and performance-oriented development.

Part function

Coilovers replace the original suspension components to guide the wheels vertically, support the body and absorb vehicle movements. On a Volkswagen ID.4, they optimise handling, reduce body roll, improve weight transfer control and allow precise ride height adjustment to suit the intended use.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Less precise handling in corners or during changes in lateral load.
• Excessive body roll, pitch under braking or substantial body movements during acceleration.
• Loss of stability at high speed or on rough roads.
• Uneven tyre wear due to impaired suspension behaviour.
• Vague steering feel and reduced dynamic comfort.

Benefits of replacement

• Improved vehicle handling and stability.
• Precise ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel.
• Better control of body roll, pitch and load transfer.
• Sportier handling while retaining a good level of comfort for road use.
• Option to adapt damping settings to use: road, dynamic driving or occasional trackdays.
