Part function

Coilovers replace the original suspension components to allow precise adjustment of ride height and damping firmness. Their role is to optimise tyre contact with the road, limit body movements and improve vehicle stability under acceleration, braking and cornering.

The threaded body, adjustable via the lower mount, allows the vehicle’s height to be adjusted without changing spring preload or reducing useful damper travel. This design allows the Hyundai i30 to be adapted for daily, sporting or trackday-oriented use.
