Discover the BG Racing weld-on quick-lock system, designed for a 6x70 or 6x74 bolt pattern and a 19 mm shaft. This innovative device, made from aircraft-grade aluminium, features an anodised inner hub for increased durability. The 20 mm steel splined shaft is offered in several diameters: 5/8", 3/4" and 1", and requires welding to the steering column. All these components are compatible with each other.
The BG Racing quick-release system makes it much easier to remove the steering wheel from the column, simplifying entry into and exit from your racing car. A central spline allows the steering wheel to serve as a reference point, ensuring perfect realignment every time. With an elegant black anodised finish and bright yellow coating, this system meets the latest FIA technical standards.
Warning: Replacing steering wheels on vehicles fitted with airbag systems will disable the driver and passenger airbags, as well as any other airbags installed. Our steering wheels are intended exclusively for racing and show use on these vehicles. Do not attempt to install this kit without appropriate training or without reading the instruction manual. Incorrect installation can cause steering wheel failure, increasing the risk of serious accidents. Please also note that reducing the steering wheel diameter increases steering effort.
