Discover the bio-based synthetic Fuel Economy engine lubricant, designed specifically for hybrid electric (H.E.V) and plug-in hybrid (P.H.E.V) vehicles with modern petrol engines, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, with direct or indirect injection. Ideal for engines requiring SAE 0W-30 oils, it offers low friction and very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity ≥ 3.0 mPa.s.

MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-30 addresses the technical challenges of petrol hybrids, including fuel dilution, water emulsification, frequent stop/start cycles and lower oil temperatures. Its advanced formulation is part of Motul’s sustainability concept, incorporating 25% organic base oil (fully renewable plant-based synthetic base oils) and packaged in a container made from 50% recycled plastic that is fully recyclable.

Using renewable non-fossil materials reduces environmental impact and allows Motul to lower its manufacturing carbon footprint by 25%. The MOTUL NGEN range represents the brand’s sustainability commitment, using various technologies to reduce the carbon footprint of formulations and packaging.

This dedicated formula is also compatible with petrol engines requiring SAE 0W-30 viscosity or a grade 30 Fuel Economy lubricant meeting API SP and/or ILSAC GF-6A. MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-30 also suits BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) electric vehicles with a petrol combustion engine range extender (Range Extender).
