Choosing the right DEI heat wrap:

• Option 1: Glass Fiber Series Standard solution with reliable thermal insulation (648°C direct / 1093°C radiant). Available in beige and black, it is economical, flexible and easy to install, but requires a silicone coating for better fluid resistance. Ideal for racing cars, motorcycles and classic applications.
• Option 2: EXO Series Designed for extreme off-road environments, with high-temperature glass fibre and a stainless steel exoskeleton for increased impact and moisture resistance. Withstands 648°C direct / 1093°C radiant heat, available in beige and black. More durable than Glass Fiber Series. Silicone coating recommended but not essential. Suitable for off-road applications: rallying, 4x4, motocross.
• Option 3: Titanium Series Maximum performance with superior thermal insulation (982°C direct / 1371°C radiant) in woven lava fibre. Does not require a silicone coating. Available in titanium and black titanium, ideal for high-end racing cars and high-performance applications.

Notes:

1. Heat wrap is not designed to be moved or removed after heat exposure. Once heated, the fibres lose their initial flexibility but retain their thermal properties.
2. DEI advises against wrapping titanium exhausts, as thin alloys designed to dissipate heat rapidly may become brittle and crack prematurely if they retain too much heat.
