Which DEI exhaust heat wrap range should you choose?

Option 1: Glass Fiber Series A standard woven fibreglass solution providing good thermal insulation (648°C direct / 1093°C radiant). Available in beige and black, it is economical, flexible and easy to install, but requires a silicone coating for improved resistance to fluids. Ideal for racing cars, motorcycles and classic applications.

Option 2: EXO Series Designed for extreme off-road environments, this range uses high-temperature fibreglass with a stainless steel exoskeleton for improved resistance to shocks, vibrations and moisture. Withstands 648°C direct / 1093°C radiant heat, available in beige and black. More durable and rigid than the Glass Fiber Series. Silicone coating recommended but not essential. Suitable for off-road applications: rally, 4x4, motocross.

Option 3: Titanium Series Offering maximum performance and protection, this wrap is made from woven lava fibre, providing superior thermal insulation (982°C direct / 1371°C radiant), excellent flexibility and requiring no silicone coating. Available in titanium and black titanium colours, it is ideal for top-level racing cars and high-performance applications, ensuring maximum durability and resistance.

Notes:

1. Heat wrap is not designed to be moved or removed after heat exposure. Once heated, the fibres lose their initial flexibility but retain their thermal properties.
2. DEI does not recommend wrapping titanium exhausts. The alloys used for these systems are often thin and designed to dissipate heat quickly. Wrapping a titanium exhaust can retain too much heat, making the alloy brittle and liable to crack prematurely.
