4 forged I-beam connecting rods for Talbot Simca Rallye

Discover the XTREM forged I-beam connecting rods, specially designed for the Talbot Simca Rallye. These high-performance rods, precision-balanced to the nearest gram, can withstand engine speeds exceeding 9000 revolutions per minute. Designed to offer both light weight and strength, they are ideal for heavily tuned racing engines, increasing their power by more than 1,5 times compared with the original.

Made from premium steel and heat-treated, XTREM Motorsport connecting rods are designed to withstand the most demanding conditions. Their design allows significant weight savings of up to 100 grams per rod, improving engine performance by allowing it to reach high revs with ease.

Each XTREM reinforced connecting rod kit is supplied with ARP L19 bolts and washers, renowned for their greater strength than ARP 2000. This kit includes 4 connecting rods, along with the required bolts and washers. Here are some technical specifications:

• Centre distance: 124.00mm
• Big-end diameter: 44.00mm

Applications: SIMCA Rallye 1, 2, and 3.

Warning: ARP L19 bolts require precautions due to their susceptibility to corrosion. When tightening, we recommend lubricating the threads and bearing surfaces with molybdenum paste. Tighten in three stages to achieve the recommended stretch (between 150 and 170 microns, or 0,15 / 0,17 mm). ARP L19 3/8" tightening stages:

• Stage 1: tighten to 2.5 m.kgf
• Stage 2: tighten to 4.5 m.kgf
• Stage 3: tighten to 6.5 m.kgf
