It improves engine cooling, optimises thermal management and helps increase power and torque while reducing fuel consumption. Unlike traditional mechanical pumps, the EWP pump operates electrically, freeing up to an additional 10 kW (13 PS) by reducing the load on the engine.

Versatile, it can replace a mechanical pump or be installed as an auxiliary pump to support the cooling system. When paired with a digital controller (sold separately under reference 414CONTROL4 or included in the EWP® Combo Pack), pump speed adjusts automatically to the coolant temperature, ensuring optimum performance and increased energy efficiency. The controller offers several temperature settings, ideal for maximising power or improving fuel economy.

After the engine stops, the controller continues to operate for 3 minutes (or until the target temperature is reached), preventing heat soak and extending engine life. The pump is supplied on its own.
