It improves thermal management, delivers a notable gain in power and torque, and reduces fuel consumption.

Unlike belt-driven mechanical pumps, the EWP pump runs on electricity, freeing up to 10 kW (13 PS) of additional power by not drawing directly on the engine. It can replace a conventional mechanical pump or be added as an auxiliary pump to boost your cooling system.

Paired with a digital controller (sold separately under reference 414CONTROL4 or in the EWP® Combo Pack), the system automatically adjusts EWP pump speed according to coolant temperature, ensuring optimal performance and increased energy efficiency. The digital controller offers several adjustable temperature ranges, ideal for maximising power or improving fuel economy. After the engine stops, the controller continues to run for three minutes (or until 10°C below the target temperature), preventing heat soak and extending engine life.
