Designed to deliver exceptional performance, it improves thermal management and increases power and torque while reducing fuel consumption.
Unlike belt-driven mechanical models, the EWP pump operates electrically, freeing up to 10 kW (13 hp) of extra power without directly drawing on the engine. It can replace a traditional mechanical pump or be installed as an auxiliary pump to reinforce the cooling system.
Paired with a digital controller (sold separately, reference 414CONTROL4, or included in the EWP Combo Pack), the pump automatically adjusts its speed according to coolant temperature. This ensures optimal performance and increased energy efficiency. The controller offers several adjustable temperature ranges to maximise power or improve fuel economy. Even after the engine stops, the controller continues to run for 3 minutes (or until 10°C below the target temperature), preventing heat soak and extending engine life.
