It improves thermal management, delivers a notable gain in power and torque, and reduces fuel consumption.

Unlike conventional belt-driven mechanical pumps, the EWP pump runs electrically, freeing up to 10 kW (13 hp) of additional power without directly loading the engine. It can replace a conventional mechanical pump or be installed as an auxiliary pump to boost the cooling system.

Combined with a digital controller (available separately under reference 414CONTROL4 or in the EWP Combo Pack), the pump automatically adjusts its speed according to coolant temperature, ensuring optimal performance and increased energy efficiency. The controller offers several adjustable temperature ranges to maximise power or improve fuel consumption. Even after the engine stops, the controller continues operating for 3 minutes (or until 10°C below the target temperature), preventing heat soak and extending engine life.
