ACCUSUMP 3L electric engine oil pressure accumulator without valve 406 mm

The ACCUSUMP 3L electric engine oil pressure accumulator, without valve, is designed to maintain optimum oil pressure during motor races. This innovative device offers two essential functions:

• Pre-pressurisation of the oil system before starting the engine.
• Compensation for drops in oil pressure during operation.

The system consists of a sealed cylinder with a piston separating oil from air. It fills automatically according to oil pressure, reaching a balance between air and oil pressure. If pressure drops, the accumulated oil is released to compensate for this drop.

Three types of valve can control this accumulator:

• Manual valve, ¼ turn
• Standard solenoid valve: ideal for rapid pressurisation before starting or for drag racing applications.
• EPC solenoid valve: specially designed for competition, it activates automatically in the event of a low-pressure alert, with three default alert levels.

For installation, connecting it to the original oil circuit via a sandwich plate and a bypass T-piece after the radiator is recommended. It can also be mounted directly on the oil sump. Ensure that the oil-side end is slightly higher than the air-side end to prevent air bubbles. The recommended connections are: AN-6 hose for the Accusump 1L, and AN-10 hose for the 2L and 3L models.
