1L 305 mm electric engine oil pressure accumulator

Discover our 1L, 305 mm electric engine oil pressure accumulator, designed specifically for motor racing. This ingenious device is your ideal ally in preventing oil pressure drops during a race. It offers two major functions:

• Pre-pressurising the oil circuit before starting the engine.
• Automatic compensation when pressure drops in the system.

This sealed cylinder, with a piston separating oil from air, adjusts automatically according to the oil pressure in the circuit. If pressure drops, it releases the stored oil to restore the balance.

Three types of valve can control this accumulator:

• Manual quarter-turn valve.
• Standard solenoid valve for fast filling and draining, ideal for pre-start pressurisation or drag racing.
• EPC solenoid valve, specially designed for competition, which activates automatically when the warning threshold is reached. This valve is the only one approved for racing, offering three default pressure warning levels.

For installation, mounting it on the original oil circuit using a sandwich plate and a bypass T-piece after the cooler is recommended. It can also be fitted directly to the oil sump. Make sure the oil end is slightly higher than the air end to prevent air bubbles accumulating.
