295/30/20 Yokohama A052 TYRE

Product introduction

The road-approved Yokohama A052 tyre in size 295/30/20 is a high-performance semi-slick designed for sports vehicles, trackday builds and intensive use on both road and circuit. Developed to offer maximum grip, excellent driving precision and rapid warm-up, it is intended for drivers seeking a very high-performance tyre while retaining road approval.

The component’s role

The tyre provides the direct link between the vehicle and the road. It transmits engine power, withstands braking forces, ensures traction and contributes directly to cornering stability. On a sports or modified car, a semi-slick tyre such as the Yokohama A052 allows the performance of the chassis, brakes and engine to be used effectively.

Symptoms or consequences of a worn or defective tyre

• Loss of grip under acceleration, braking or cornering load.
• Longer braking distances, particularly on wet roads.
• Imprecise cornering behaviour or a floating sensation.
• Uneven wear that may indicate incorrect wheel alignment.
• Increased risk of aquaplaning when tread depth becomes insufficient.
• Reduced circuit performance and loss of consistency after several fast laps.

Benefits of replacement

• Restored grip and driving precision.
• Better traction under hard acceleration.
• More effective and stable braking.
• More direct handling in sporty driving.
• Excellent warm grip for circuit and trackday sessions.
• Road-approved tyre suitable for mixed road and track use.
