BC Racing DS coilovers for Jaguar XJ

The DS BC Racing coilovers for the Jaguar XJ improve handling with a wide adjustment range for sporty driving. Drawing on BC Racing’s motorsport experience, this new kit optimises height, driving precision and body movement control on dynamic roads and occasional track outings.

Purpose of the part

Coilovers replace original suspension components to control vertical body movement, cornering roll, brake pitch and acceleration weight transfer better. DS digressive valve technology, also called Double Digressive Valving, increases damping at low suspension movement speeds for better support while retaining stable, progressive response at higher speeds.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Loss of precision during changes in cornering load.
• Excessive body roll in corners and a floating body sensation.
• Longer braking distances due to poor control of weight transfer.
• Irregular tyre wear due to poor alignment or deteriorated damping.
• Lack of traction and stability on poor roads or during sustained driving.

Benefits of replacement

• Clear improvement in body control and steering precision.
• Ride-height adjustment for a sportier stance suited to vehicle use.
• Combined rebound and compression adjustment over 30 levels through a single knob.
• Improved stability under hard braking, strong acceleration and cornering.
• Comfort retained through a design developed for sporty, versatile road use.
• Ideal for enthusiasts seeking an effective road/occasional-trackday balance.
