BC Racing BR Coilovers for BMW X1

BC Racing BR coilovers for the BMW X1 are designed to improve road handling while allowing precise ride height and damping adjustment. Drawing on BC Racing's motorsport experience, these new coilovers offer an excellent balance of performance, versatility and reliability for sporty road use or track days.

Purpose of the part

Coilovers replace the original dampers and springs to support the body, control suspension movement and maintain tyre grip. Their threaded bodies allow height adjustment without changing spring preload or unnecessarily reducing travel. Damping adjustment adapts the BMW X1's handling to the intended use: dynamic comfort, sporty driving or more spirited use.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Poor road holding in corners, under braking or during changes of direction
• Excessive body oscillation and a lack of steering precision
• Potentially longer braking distances on uneven roads
• Uneven or premature tyre wear
• Reduced comfort and abnormal noises caused by worn suspension components
• Ride height unsuitable for sporty or personalised use

Benefits of replacement

• Noticeably improved chassis stability and precision
• Ride height adjustment for a sportier appearance and lower centre of gravity
• 30-position damping adjustment to adapt the suspension to your driving
• Better control of roll, pitch and weight transfer
• A versatile solution for sporty road use and track days
• Robust design for consistent and long-lasting performance
