Purpose of the part

Coilovers replace the original dampers and springs for precise ride-height and damping firmness adjustment. They control body movements, optimise tyre grip and improve stability during acceleration, braking and cornering.

The threaded body, adjustable via the lower mount, allows height adjustment without changing spring preload or reducing usable damper travel. This adapts the Chevrolet Sonic to dynamic everyday use or more demanding circuit driving.
