DS BC Racing coilovers for Mazda RX-7

This BC Racing DS coilover kit is a new suspension solution intended for Mazda RX-7. Developed for drivers seeking more precise handling, better body control and adjustable ride height, the DS range benefits from digressive damping technology drawn from BC Racing's motorsport experience.

Purpose of the part

Coilovers replace the original suspension components to guide vertical wheel movement, control body movement and absorb road irregularities. On a Mazda RX-7, they improve stability under cornering load, reduce roll, pitch and weight transfer while offering precise ride height adjustment.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Less precise handling during spirited driving.
• Excessive body roll in corners and pronounced body movement.
• Loss of traction or grip during acceleration, braking and changes of load.
• Worn dampers causing bouncing, instability or longer braking distances.
• Uneven tyre wear with deteriorated or poorly adjusted suspension.

Benefits of replacement

• Improved handling and driving precision.
• Height adjustment independent of spring preload to adjust stance without unnecessarily reducing suspension travel.
• 30 levels of combined rebound and compression adjustment via a single knob.
• Better control of roll, pitch and weight transfer through digressive technology.
• An effective balance of performance, comfort and spirited road use or occasional track days.
• New product designed for installation suited to the vehicle's mounting points.
