BC Racing BR coilovers for Mazda RX-7

BC Racing Club Sport BR coilovers for Mazda RX-7 are designed to improve the vehicle's dynamic handling while retaining versatile use on spirited road drives and track sessions. This new kit, drawing on BC Racing's expertise, precisely adjusts ride height and suspension firmness to adapt the car to your use, driving style and configuration.

Purpose of the part

Coilovers replace the original dampers and springs to guide vertical wheel movement, control body movement and maintain vehicle grip. On a Mazda RX-7, they reduce roll, improve stability under cornering load and limit weight transfer under braking and acceleration while offering more precise adjustment than standard suspension.

With the threaded body adjustable via the lower mount, vehicle height can be changed without altering spring preload or reducing useful damper travel. This design ensures effective suspension operation for both dynamic road driving and track days.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Imprecise handling or floating behaviour at high speed
• Pronounced cornering roll and loss of stability under load
• Excessive dive under braking or pronounced squat under acceleration
• Uneven tyre wear linked to poor control of body movement
• Loss of traction or grip on uneven roads or during sports driving
• Original dampers worn, leaking or insufficient for chassis preparation

Benefits of replacement

• A clear improvement in driving precision and steering feedback
• Reduced roll and improved cornering stability
• Ride height adjustment to optimise vehicle stance
• Adaptability between road comfort and track effectiveness
• More consistent damping through monotube design
• Effective, adjustable suspension, ideal for a modified Mazda RX-7 or sports driving
