BC Racing DS coilovers for Citroën DS3

BC Racing coilovers for Citroën DS3 are designed to improve the vehicle’s dynamic handling while allowing precise adjustment of ride height and damping firmness. Drawing on BC Racing’s motorsport expertise, these adjustable dampers offer a high-performance solution for spirited road use, track days or chassis preparation.

Part function

Coilovers replace the original dampers and springs to improve control of body movements, body roll, pitch and weight transfer. Their threaded body allows vehicle height to be adjusted independently of spring preload, adapting the Citroën DS3 to sporting use while maintaining appropriate suspension travel.

The DS range’s digressive technology optimises damping force at low piston speeds. It improves stability under cornering loads, steering precision and traction, particularly on technical roads or uneven surfaces, while maintaining progressive, effective damping at higher speeds.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Impaired road handling and lack of cornering precision
• Excessive body roll during changes of direction
• Less stable braking with significant weight transfer
• Loss of traction under acceleration on uneven roads
• Irregular tyre wear
• A floating sensation or insufficient damping

Benefits of replacement

• Clear improvement in road handling and driving precision
• Ride-height adjustment to optimise the vehicle’s centre of gravity and appearance
• 30-position firmness adjustment to adapt the suspension to road, circuit or mixed use
• Better control of body roll, pitching and load transfer
• Digressive technology suited to demanding sporting driving
• New product offering reliability, performance and consistent damping
