BC Racing DS coilovers for Audi A5

BC Racing DS coilovers for Audi A5 are new high-performance suspension units designed to improve handling, driving precision and chassis control. Developed with BC Racing's motorsport expertise, the DS range effectively balances sporty road use, dynamic driving and occasional circuit outings.

Purpose of the part

Coilovers replace the original dampers and springs to better control Audi A5 body movements. They adjust ride height and damping firmness, optimising vehicle balance to suit the use. Their digressive technology improves control of roll, pitch, weight transfer and changes in cornering load.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Vague handling in corners or during rapid changes in cornering load.
• Excessive body roll and reduced front-axle precision.
• Less consistent braking distances due to poor body movement control.
• Uneven tyre wear linked to worn or unsuitable suspension.
• Loss of traction and stability on poor roads or during performance driving.
• Sagging ride height or damping that has become too soft over time.

Benefits of replacement

• Clear improvement in road holding and high-speed stability.
• Reduced body roll, pitch and unwanted body movements.
• Precise ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel.
• Adapting Audi A5 handling for sporty road use or occasional track days.
• Better steering feel and more direct chassis response.
• Comfort retained through BC Racing DS digressive valve technology.
