COILOVERS BR / BC RACING / MAZDA 3

BC Racing BR coilovers for Mazda 3

BC Racing BR coilovers are designed to improve the handling of your Mazda 3 while retaining versatility for sporty road use and occasional track outings. New and drawing on BC Racing's motorsport expertise, they offer an excellent balance of performance, steering precision and adjustment options.

Purpose of the part

The coilovers replace the original dampers and springs to control body movements, ride height and suspension firmness more effectively. Their adjustable design allows the Mazda 3 chassis to be tailored to the intended use: spirited road driving, sporty driving or track days.

Ride height is adjusted via the damper's lower mount, allowing the vehicle's stance to be changed without compressing the spring or unnecessarily reducing travel. This provides cleaner, more stable and more effective adjustment than simply lowering the car with shorter springs.

Symptoms or consequences of worn or unsuitable suspension

• Deteriorated handling in corners or during changes in cornering load
• Excessive body roll and lack of front axle precision
• Longer braking distances when tyre contact with the road is poor
• Uneven tyre wear
• Pitching, bouncing or instability on uneven roads
• Poorly controlled lowering with loss of comfort and travel
